Get to Know Me

My family's roots grow deep in East Tennessee, and as a Realtor, I love showing people all the area has to offer. I grew up in West Knoxville's Bearden community, where my father's family has lived for several generations. My mother's family was from South Knoxville, and as a large but close-knit family, we were often visiting relatives in all parts of the city. It would be tough to find someone who knows Knoxville better than me!

From a young age I was driven by a desire to help people. I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Tennessee. In 2002, I decided that real estate was the perfect way to combine my love of houses with my desire to help people. My background also makes me uniquely qualified to assist buyers and sellers. I am caring and compassionate by nature, but don't be fooled by these traits; I am also trained to be an advocate for others, and I will do what it takes to negotiate the best possible outcome for my clients. For the past 20 years I've helped clients successfully navigate the ups and downs of the ever-changing real estate market, whether it's buying or selling lakeside properties, historic homes, or a downtown condo.

Even after two decades, I still find working in real estate extremely interesting and rewarding. Whether helping buyers find their dream home or guiding sellers as they prepare to list their home, I'm always hands-on to make sure the process goes as smoothly and as worry-free as possible. To me, there's nothing better than seeing a buyer's face light up when they find the right property, or helping a seller successfully close one chapter of their life so they can move on to the next one.

I joined Alliance Sotheby's International Realty in 2012, and I immediately knew I had found my home! The brand's unrivaled reputation, extraordinary marketing, and worldwide network of agents have been an integral part of my success. Since joining the company, I have tripled my sales volume, consistently finishing in the top 100 of our area's pool of 5000+ agents.

As a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, my expert marketing skills, and caring, professional demeanor have resulted in referrals not only from friends and clients in Knoxville, but from a loyal network of friends and fellow agents across the country.

My husband Alec and I have been together since high school. We both attended the University of Tennessee and are proud to call Knoxville home. For more than ten years, Alec has been an important part of my business, working behind the scenes to help me cultivate a real estate experience that is seamless and as stress-free as possible for my clients. We feel very fortunate to have been able to raise our sons Matt and John, and our sweet Labradoodle, Daisy, in a community and city that we both love so much.
